Published by at 7:43 am under audio tracks,Music

Once again, I was invited to participate in a group project. This time, it is 99 Bottles of Beer. Each ‘chorus’ will be performed by a different group/individual, and then they’ll all be put together.

Here’s my first try:

    Hi Sander,
Thanks for sharing all the interesting things that go on in Long Beach and with all your talents. I think the 69th bottle of beer may be my new favorite.:)

Brilliant harmony. And just to think, singing that well after 30 bottles of beer! What kind of beer budget did you have with that huge choir?

from the wikipedia: “Negative Bottles of Beer on the wall,” is a means of annoyance. When the song is sung to annoy others, instead of to keep the singers amused, surrounding listeners take great relief once there are 0 bottles of beer on the wall. A brief pause happens, at which point they singers begin to descend into the negatives.

“Infinite Bottles of Beer on the wall,” a nerdish variant. If one of those bottles is taken down, there are still infinite bottles of beer on the wall.

It takes about 10 seconds to sing each verse, which means the song should take 16.5 minutes to sing all the way.

as a variant to this song, to end it quickly:

bottles of beer on the wall
    bottles of beer
Kick the wall, watch them all fall
No more bottles of beer on the wall!
